Le Point Sublime

Le Point Sublime is a stunning observation point, comfortably and easily reached by chairlift, or by a walk of around 2 hours climbing 700 metres. From here can be enjoyed an exceptional view of the Matterhorn (4478m), one of the world’s best known and most iconic mountains, “the most noble cliff in Europe” as it was defined by the poet John Ruskin (1819-1900).
Le Point Sublime is also a starting point for trips and hikes in the summer and for descents by ski or for going along trails in snowshoes in winter and spring. Some of the nearest destinations are: the Santuario de la Clavalité, Cheneil hill, Fontana Freida, Col de Nana.
