Lake Lod is one of most beautiful spots in Chamois, a stretch of water at 2000 metres altitude, surrounded by a vast pine forest. It can be easily reached by chairlift, but the more athletic can get there on foot along an easy path. In both winter and summer it is the departure point of the lifts to climb to the upper reaches. Along its banks there are paths for walking, equipped picnic areas, and bars and restaurants with outdoor eating areas. There is fishing in the summer, while in winter it is a paradise for young or inexperienced skiers, with areas equipped with magic carpet conveyors and the campetto baby for the very young.
